Forward & back bends are two completely opposite movements / postures. By learning how to balance them during our practice will help us to creat a safe & strong practice that can be sustainable for our life. In this class will breakdown forward and back bends from the 3 first sequences of Ashtanga Yoga and find that they can complement each other if we practice with intelligence and awareness.

The Vinyasa System
Vinyasa is a huge part of the Ashtanga Yoga method. For every single asana there are a certain number of movements coordinated with the inhalation and exhalation, to enter and exit the posture. During this class we will explore and work on Vinyasa from the Primary, Intermediate and Third Series. From the most simple ones to the most challenging, all are important, by understanding that we can dive deeper in our practice.
